We are currently looking for a Business Analyst with a technical background, preferably in Operational Resilience at a large financial services organisation.
Essential Skills
- Broad understanding of the new Operational Resilience Regulations that challenges organisations to recover Important Business Services (including infrastructures & applications) within Impact Tolerance timescales.
- Experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical skills and can challenge technical experts to interpret the subject matter for their own understanding (and can relay this to senior management)
- Ability to plan and prioritise their own workload, liaising with Project Manager and project team.
- Can identify gaps or improvements required to deliver quality Business Analyst output.
- Experience of IT change delivery utilising the Fast Path toolkit. You should be fully aware of the Business Analyst artefacts contained within the toolkit and have a proven track record of producing these documents.
- Ability to understand large and complex data sets and be able to interpret them into meaningful outputs, i.e. Service Now report confirming key infrastructure & application set up.
- Comfortable with uncertainty and change. Our subject matter is continually evolving meaning we continually need to commit to upskilling ourselves and evolve our thinking.
Desirable Skills
- Some understanding of critical business processes / important business services.
- Passion for technology and an ability to apply analytical techniques to determine the most beneficial outcomes would be an advantage.
- Any experience working in fast path agile teams would be beneficial.
- Appreciation / understanding of test methodologies & approaches
