Senior Platform Engineer – Vulnerability Management & Ansible
Contract | Inside IR35 | London (Hybrid Preferred)
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with strong
Vulnerability Management
and
Ansible Automation
experience to support a large-scale security and infrastructure programme.
This is a hands-on role focused on reducing vulnerability exposure, automating remediation activities, and improving security compliance across a complex enterprise environment.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong experience in Vulnerability Management within enterprise environments
Advanced Ansible experience (Playbooks, Roles, AWX/Tower)
Hands-on experience with Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7 or similar vulnerability management tools
Strong Windows and Linux platform knowledge
Experience automating patching, remediation, and security hardening activities
Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management principles
Desirable
CIS, NIST or ISO27001 exposure
DevSecOps experience
ServiceNow or Jira integration experience
Responsibilities
Manage and prioritise vulnerability remediation activities
Build and maintain Ansible automation for remediation and patching at scale
Work closely with Security, Infrastructure, and Platform teams
Improve remediation processes, reporting, and compliance posture
Inside IR35 | London-based candidates preferred | Immediate or short notice candidates highly desirable
