We are currently looking for a number of Security Controls SMEs to work on a project with a financial services client.
The project will involve reviewing IT Security controls and working on embedding them in a scalable way. There are gaps in the security architecture documentation that security control consumers require so that they know which technology/tool is needed to meet control requirements for their specific use case and the corresponding engineering pattern to use so they can properly implement the control.
The role will involve capturing and documenting the “as-is” patterns. This is to improve the current document set, as well as a future objective of automation. Candidates will have experience of working on technical configuration details for engineering patterns.
Documentation on Engineering Guardrails and Engineering Patterns will be produced.
Candidates will work with relevant Product Owner and Engineering Leads to identify each unique use case that requires an engineering pattern. The role will also involve working with engineers to populate the engineering pattern for each unique use case.
Initial engineering patterns will go through user acceptance testing to ensure the intended audience is able to use the document as expected. The client will facilitate user acceptance testing with support of the team.
Completed engineering patterns will be added to the applicable engineering guardrail.
