    Programme Test Manager - Remote

    We are currently looking for a Programme Test Manager to join an existing team with one of our financial services clients.
    The role will be accountable for defining and delivering the overall test strategy for complex, strategic end-to-end programmes. This role ensures quality assurance and testing excellence across business and IT initiatives, driving alignment with organisational objectives and industry best practices.
    Applicants will have previous experience in a Senior position within a large organisation, ideally from an Insurance background, but other Financial Services can be considered.
    The role will involve large scale delivery, bringing structure and rigour to Testing practices, reporting to and managing senior stakeholders.
     
    Key Responsibilities
     
    Test Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for large-scale, complex programmes.
    • Ensure alignment of testing approach with programme objectives, risk profile, and delivery timelines.
    Delivery & Governance
    • Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across multiple workstreams.
    • Establish and enforce testing standards, frameworks, and governance processes.
    Team Leadership
    • Manage and mentor a team of Project Test Leads, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Allocate resources effectively to meet programme demands.
    Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align testing objectives with business and IT goals.
    • Provide clear and concise reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metrics.
    Risk & Issue Management
    • Drive defect management and resolution processes across programme teams.
    • Apply risk-based testing approaches to optimise coverage and efficiency
    Continuous Improvement
    • Champion quality engineering practices and innovation within the testing discipline.
     
    Skills & Experience
    • Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering.
    • Creating test strategies and delivering testing for strategic, complex E2E programmes.
    • Extensive business and IT experience within the Financial Services industry.
    • Managing and mentoring teams of Project Test Leads.
    • Excellent conceptualisation and verbalisation skills for articulating complex ideas clearly.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to influence at senior levels.
