ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to assist with one of our financial service clients. This role will be within the Network and Data Security project.
Please note this role falls inside IR35 and will be offered on a contract renewable basis.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review an architecture or network diagram, assess it against our Standards and identify potential risks.
- Proactively schedule meetings or chase down projects to be able to complete their review in a timely manner.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Network Security knowledge
- Experience reviewing architecture or network diagrams
- Knowledge of Data Security principles, Data Loss Prevention technologies, encryption algorithms would be an advantage.
- Proactive – the individual would need to proactively schedule meetings or chase down projects to be able to complete their review in a timely manner.
- Ability to explain security risks to a Business person in a way that they can understand (i.e. in a non-technical way).
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure or Ali Cloud Service Providers would be an advantage.
- Experience in financial services desirable
