We are looking to speak with Network Security Architects to assist on a multi-year cyber resilience programme with one of our insurance services clients. Please note this role will fall inside IR35. Contracts may be offered on a 6 month basis but the programme is likely to last for another 1-2 years.

Reporting to the Lead Cyber Security Architect, the Cyber Resilience Network Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining the programme’s Cyber Security Architecture and associated artefacts, they will also ensure programme deliverables align to the security architecture, to identify key dependencies inside and outside of the programme, to manage key security risks, and will work with the Architecture, Delivery, and Change communities to ensure the programme’s architecture and deliverables integrate with the wider enterprise.


  • Developing and maintaining the programme’s Cyber Resilience Architecture and associated artefacts (with a specific focus on network security.)
  • Providing guidance, at scale, to the technical and security communities on how to design and build solutions which are secure by design, resilient, and compliant with the client's policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining and championing the cyber resilience architecture elements of the SDLC.
  • Support the CISO and the Security Management Leadership in the development of the cyber resilience strategy and associated security services.
  • Provide oversight on the implementation of the cyber resilience architecture within the Cyber Resilience Programme.
  • Work closely with the Lead Cyber Security Architect to ensure the programme’s architecture and deliverables integrate with the wider enterprise.


  • A strong track record of developing network security architectures
  • Experience with Firewalls
  • Previous experience with network segmentation
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, including Agile methodologies
  • Experience with cloud technologies specifically Azure would be desirable
  • Ability to communicate technical requirements in solutions in business terms and contexts
  • Advanced knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISF, SABSA, etc.
  • Be comfortable working independently and presenting to the relevant boards as required.
