Job Description:
As a Security Analyst at I-confidential, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures, as well as facilitating compliance efforts within the financial services sector. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' security practices align with industry regulations and best practices. Training will be provided to bring you up to speed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a compliance, risk management, or security-related role within the financial services industry is highly desirable.
- A desire to work across the whole landscape of IT Security
- An understanding of financial industry regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- A good attitude towards learning and developing new skills.
The day to day:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures tailored to the specific needs of our financial services clients.
- Conduct regular reviews of security controls and processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate security requirements into actionable tasks and monitor their implementation.
- Support the preparation and coordination of regulatory compliance audits and assessments.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations to provide proactive recommendations to clients.
