We have an exciting opportunity to join our IT Controls Testing team, working with clients as well as developing i-confidential’s service offerings.
As a Controls Tester, you will be responsible for testing controls within Technology environments. Applicants will have extensive experience in testing controls within technology environments in financial services.
Responsibilities
- Manage and undertake independent control testing and assessment activities, addressing issues highlighted and helping to enhance the control framework and control design.
- Design, implement and run test plans, scripts and procedures to ensure that controls are operating effectively and efficiently.
- Conduct root cause analysis of control failures and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that controls are in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging risks, control frameworks, and industry trends and provide input to enhance the control environment.
Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to controls testing.
- Ability to design and implement test plans, scripts, and procedures.
- Strong technical abilities in formal audit/assurance methodologies, control testing and assessment, combined with strong business acumen and business analysis skills.
- Proven knowledge and skills in process mapping, control gap identification and test script preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
