We are looking to recruit for Lead Business Analysts to support projects within the Insider Threat space, working alongside a leading name in the retail and commercial banking sector.
What you can expect from the role:
- Working alongside our team of BAs to analyse technical and business data; allowing us to determine solutions which will make the greatest difference and add most value
- Partnering with the business areas to understand requirements and define them into user stories and seeing them through development, testing, and release into the Live environment
- Contributing to team stand ups and retros and be involved with helping the team continually improve their ways of working
- As the Senior Business Analyst you'll produce standard artefacts and progress them through the approval process
- Collaborating with numerous Divisions and Teams to ensure our work you're doing meet their needs and embed efficiently into their ‘Business As Usual’ world. Working closely with the Chief Resilience Security Office
- Developing personal capabilities through formal and informal training and coaching other Business Analysts within the team
Essentials:
- Strong BA with full end to end business and IT delivery experience. You should be fully aware of the BA artefacts and have a proven track record of producing these documents
- Able to work with large and complex data sets and interpret them into meaningful outputs
- Experience and confidence in running workshops and engaging partners with the ability to work independently
- Able to quickly adapt to uncertainty and change. Our subject matter is continually evolving meaning we continually need to commit to upskilling ourselves and evolve our thinking
- Experience in Agile Methodology and able to contribute to various Agile processes such as Daily Stand-up, Release Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, Sprint Review
Desirables:
- It would be excellent if you understood some of the key aspects of insider risk and cyber security
- Passion for business analysis and an ability to apply analysis techniques to determine the most beneficial outcomes would be an advantage
- Experience working in sprints, defining the business-driven acceptance criteria, testing stories, and supporting the release of them into Live environments
- Have a good knowledge of the agile practices and be able to support and encourage the improvement of them across the team
- Completed Business Analysis qualifications or in the process of completing them
