Full Stack DDI Engineer - Data Centre Migration 
 
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack DDI Engineer to join a client of ours. This role demands a deep understanding of networking technologies and specifically DDI, encompassing the design, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive DDI infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be adept at solving complex challenges, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of our DDI systems.
 
Start Date: Jan 2025
Term: 6 months 
Location: Hybrid with Sheffield or Birmingham (2 days per week).
Role Type: Contract (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute migrations of DDI assets from one location to another.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure seamless migration of consuming devices
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans for DDI infrastructure and service migrations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues associated with the migration.
  • Develop and maintain automation to streamline DDI changes and ensure consistency across environments.
  • Product high quality documentation and diagrams including designs, configurations, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure all necessary compliance and security measures are upheld during the migration.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the migration process.

Skills
  • Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and DDI.
  • Expertise in DDI architecture and engineering, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM and GSLB
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of IT compliance and data security standards.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Visio skills.
  • DDI product knowledge including VitalQIP, AMS, AMM, Infoblox, efficientIP, F5 GTM
Please note this requirement does not support overseas working and is Inside IR35.
