One our large well-known Financial Services clients is looking for Cloud Security Architects with DevOps experience to join their growing team on a contractual basis.
Background
Taking an architectural & engineering role within Cloud Security Engineering in the design and delivery of security services across the organisation’s Google Cloud Platform environment.
The role requires in-depth technical understanding and experience of public cloud, API and micro-service architectures, providing low-level hands-on technical engineering expertise for Security Engineering’s control framework and continuous compliance service. Additionally, taking ownership for the ongoing maturing and automation of foundation security services provided for wider consumption across the organisation.
Key accountabilities:
- SME accountability for core security control framework components & services (GCP)
- Manage senior level engagement into the business portfolio
- Represent Security at localised governance forums
- Ratify the risk rating and endorse the acceptance of risk in line with risk guiderails
Skills and experience required
- Ideally come from a Financial Services and Cybersecurity background
- In-depth technical knowledge of public cloud / API based environment / architectures (ideally GCP, but AWS/Azure also advantageous)
- Evaluating and mitigating key architectural issues or architecturally significant changes.
- Technical ‘hands on’ background in Cloud, DevOps & Cyber Security
- Knowledge of core DevOps & Agile principles
