We are currently looking for a Cloud Risk SME to join an existing team, working with a large-scale Risk and Controls programme.
The role will involve working on a variety of workstreams within a Cloud Governance project. You will be required to provide risk and control expertise to support workstream objectives and outcome deliveries and to Provide specialist support on mapping Cloud Controls across Enterprise, Platforms and Workloads.
The project team has a collaborative approach to their work and contact with other parts of the business, so communication and stakeholder engagement skills are very important in this role.
The following responsibilities will be split amongst the team, so you do not require experience in everything in the list below:
- Mapping the end to end SaaS journey
- Delivering a group wide control assurance training and education scheme
- Mapping and documenting Cloud responsibilities and alignment to Cloud service provider responsibilities
- Identifying and documenting Control requirements aligned to Characteristics and Domains
- Creation of Control Patterns and alignment of Controls to existing Patterns/Designs
- Creation and implementation of a new user interface to enable workloads to navigate applicable control requirements
- Facilitate senior and SME workshops and provide evidence on progress to the project and team tracking.
- Identify gaps against existing risks and controls and support the creation of updates to address these gaps.
Applicants will have experience of working in risk and controls environments, specifically on Cloud-based projects.
Financial services experience would be an advantage, but any background in large organisations with a regulated process and governance structure, would also be of interest.
