We are looking for skilled Business Analysts to work across various workstreams, under the Cloud Security Programme within one of our financial services clients.
Key accountabilities:
- The Business Analyst role is responsible for identifying the business needs, analysing the requirements, shaping initiatives with significant op model and design impacts, as well as support testing and implementation of agreed solutions.
- Working with a variety of cloud technologies as well as technical and product disciplines
- Work in partnership with Technology, Product Development and other stakeholders to develop and drive definition and delivery of products
- Monitor processes and drive improvements in efficiency and quality of cyber-security programs
- Assess newly designed, documented controls against required guideline requirements
- Elicitation of requirements, writing epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and related business performance metrics
- Collect, manipulate, and present data to all levels (including executive level)
- Stakeholder management
- Delivering clear messages to a variety of stakeholders and teams providing clear understanding for colleagues, both verbally and in writing
Skills and experience required
- Previous experience operating in a technical business analyst role
- Experience in one or more of the following domains; Identity & Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, TOM, Network, Security Compliance & Vendor Management.
- Extensive experience of capturing requirements on IT projects.
- Familiarity of Operating Systems, Databases and Networks.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbally and in written form.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Ability to articulate data findings to colleagues.
- Self-starter with ability to assimilate information within defined timescales.
- Flexibility to adapt and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Using own initiative to make decisions and highlight opportunities.
