Role Summary

We are currently looking for a Business Risk Analyst to work within a Risk and Controls Programme for one of our large banking clients.

The purpose of the role is to design training and delivery, process mapping and to provide documented analysis of the gaps in the current business operating model, including identification of capability & capacity gaps.

  • Lead workshops, document business processes and identify gaps
  • Contribute to delivery artefacts, including development of scope and plan and materials for capability uplift
  • Contribute to project Working Groups, workshops and other governance forums as needed
  • Provide evidence that “user experience” has been catered for in all projects in scope

Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have worked as a Business Analyst on a training and delivery project, ideally in a risk and controls environment. The candidate would benefit from possessing strong interpersonal skills including organisation and  communication - such as translating technical messages to business users.                Strong stakeholder engagement would be an advantage, role requires the winning of "hearts and minds".

Experience within the financial sector is desired, but not essential. The role will require the candidate to provide evidence of capability and capacity analysis. They will also be required to plan, deliver and document the output of multiple workshops, and map processes and produce informative documentation readable by multiple audiences. The Business Analyst will proactively contribute to updating the RAID and follows up on actions.
