We are recruiting for an exciting new role for an Engagement Project Manager working within a new initiative with a leading name in the retail banking sector.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be working on a new Backup and Recovery programme with the goal of meeting new regulations surrounding recovery of important business services in the event of a cyber-attack. The programme is heavily focused on technical delivery across the company working within many areas including the mainframe and private cloud.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be somebody that is familiar with managing projects within the banking sector or broader financial services sector. As the role operates within the banking sector and will be heavily focused around regulations this would be doubly beneficial.
The key focus of this role will be engaging stakeholders and SMEs across the company. As such, the ideal candidate will have experience communicating and managing stakeholders. They will also need to understand key concepts within the programme and break these down in order to fit the groups they are engaging with.
The ideal candidate will be somebody with experience more heavily related to technical delivery aspects rather than deep business change.
This role will be a contract position inside IR35 and the programme is expected to go on for approximately 12 to 18 months.
